So last night I watched Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Yes, I know. *Aghast!* A true Harry Potter fan would not wait this long to watch the new movie, but I was not disappointed. The movie pulled through despite a new director (David Yates) and screenwriter (Michael Goldenberg). I must say, I was pretty freaked out at some parts eventhough I clearly knew what was to happen next. However, I have to applaud the overall acting (although, Cho Chang could've been a better casted actor) and filming, truly bringing the novel and imagery to the forefront on screen. It amazes me how you can imagine an author's detailed descriptions about certain things, say the Department of Mysteries, and see it on screen as exactly how you imagined it would be. It's simply fascinating. Thursday, July 19, 2007
