Scenario: Guy looks at girl. Girl looks at guy. Instant attraction. Guy pursues girl. Girl receives pursuance. They start to date.
In a recent conversation I had last night with 2 friends, ideas on dating were bounced around that has eventually found its way into this blog entry. From the Bull's Eye Theory on Dating, to the differences between the Asian and Non-Asian mentality on dating, I concluded with a questionable conclusion: If 2 people find each other attractive, then this will inevitably lead them towards the fateful 'dating' realm. Now, here's where I got befuddled, can attraction overcompensate and justify other flaws in that person (i.e., personality, characteristcs, etc.)? Also, can you remain friends with someone you find attractive?? Think about it, this in fact could possibly be on the "doomed" path of a fatal attraction. And thus, this touches upon the theory of why guys and girls cannot be true best friends. Unless of course, they have gone through this fatal attraction, dated, and then broke up but are on good terms and now remain friends, or they are married.
In conclusion, these are ideas/thoughts on dating that are simply just that---ideas/thoughts for a Thursday morning blog entry.
