A salt shaker walks into a bar and stabs the pepper shaker w/a knife.
-- A salt (assault) with a deadly weapon!
salt shaker: "Help! Help! I need a doctor!"
pepper shaker: "Do not fear! The doctor is here!"
-- Dr. Pepper saves the day!
Ok, ok...I'll be the first to admit it. I enjoy corny jokes (such as the ones above, but it really is so much better to see the actual performance of these jokes...perhaps one of these days, if you are lucky, I will perform it for you one day). This may be due to the fact that my good ol' pops always cracked one whenever he saw the chance. I may have become so immune to the corniness that there's nothing left but to enjoy them. But I digress, this entry is about my odd likeness towards salt and pepper shakers. Ok, I'm not talking about those standard shakers that you find at diners, but there's something about those pairs. Each of them so unique yet complement each other perfectly. You can't have one without the other, partners in crime, a bonded couple, etc.
